Landance in 2012 is a large scale participatory project working with individuals and community groups in West Dorset. It will culminate in spectacular contemporary dance performances at Eggardon Hill, an iron age Hill Fort near Bridport, on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th July at 6pm.

Local individuals are invited to join Landance groups in dance, singing/music and visual art. These groups are meeting regularly from throughout May and June. Participants of all ages and abilities are welcome, 9yrs and above. If you would like to get involved please email rose@landance.org.uk. Click on the links on the right to see rehearsal and performance times.

Lead artists Andrew Dickson, composer, Anna Golding, choreographer and Ella Huhne, director and visual artist will facilitate the development of the performances on site and in nearby halls. We are working with dancers, singers and visual artists.

Primary school workshops, supported by a resource pack by educational specialist Rebecca Seymour, are available.

Performances are free and suitable for families with small children.

Landance in 2012 has been granted the Inspire mark by the London 2012 London Inspire programme.
